LEAD with PASSION AWARD
Student Life is pleased to announce the reinstatement of the Lead with Passion Award. This award, which was conferred annually before the pandemic, is presented each May during the Student Life Retreat Week luncheon. The awards are handmade glass directly from East Carolina University’s award-winning Glass Station in Farmville, NC.
The award honors individuals in three categories:
- Staff
- Faculty
- Community
Awards & Eligibility:
- Lead with Passion Student Life Staff Award
- full-time SHRA or EPS staff
- at least six months of experience in Student Life
- Lead with Passion Faculty Award
- full-time tenured or non-tenured faculty member
- at least six months of experience in teaching at ECU
- Lead with Passion Community Award
- Pitt County community member
- at least six months of experience supporting students
Award Criteria:
Student Life supports and engages with our students by providing access to vibrant facilities and spaces, dynamic programming and services, and personalized mentoring and support. We aim to cultivate enriching student experiences that transform individual lives and create positive ripple effects within their communities.
